Does Office Angels offer part-time roles?
Yes, Office Angels has part-time roles.
Does Office Angels offer home-based jobs?
No. For health and safety reasons Office Angels doesn’t recruit for home-based roles.
How do I register with Office Angels?
To register with Office Angels you need to apply for one of our positions via the website based on your criteria e.g. industry sector, location, type of contract: part-time, temporary or permanent etc. If your application is successful, one of our qualified recruitment Consultants will contact you within 5 working days.

Do I need to pay to use Office Angels services?
No, we offer services to candidates for free. According to the Employment Relations Act of 1999 a person carrying on an employment agency shall not request or directly or indirectly receive any fee from any person for providing services (whether by the provision of information or otherwise) for the purpose of finding him employment or seeking to find him employment
Who pays me if I am an assignment staff (temporary)?
Office Angels will pay you weekly (every Friday) in arrears by credit transfer to your nominated bank account, or by such method as may be agreed by the parties. You will be paid an hourly rate which may vary according to the individual client assignment and (subject to any deductions agreed with the Employee) will not be less than the National Minimum Wage prevailing at the time of the Assignment. The total pay you will receive will be calculated according to the total number of hours worked on assignment to the nearest quarter of an hour. Deductions will be made at source for tax and National Insurance.
So, you will receive your first wages two weeks after commencing your assignment, e.g. Start date: Mon 5th March, 1st Pay date: Friday 16th March, and then every Friday after that.
What are the working hours for assignment staff (temporary)?
An assignment employee will be required to work the hours and days of the week specified by Office Angels and as are applicable to each client assignment. Accordingly there will be no standard or normal working hours applicable in this contract of employment. The hours applicable to each assignment will be explained in advance of the start date.
What is the holiday entitlement for assignment staff (temporary)?
Assignment staff are entitled to a maximum of 28 days paid annual leave in each complete holiday year. Office Angels holiday year begins on the Monday immediately following the last Friday in September and ends on the last Friday in September.
If you wish to take paid holiday, please call your Office Angels branch in advance so that we can check you have accrued enough days and book them for you. You must give at least one weeks notice of intention to take paid annual leave.
On your timesheet please mark the day taken as holiday with the word “HOLIDAY”, not as hours actually worked, to avoid any confusion.
What is the procedure for absence from assignment staff (temporary)?
You must call your Office Angels branch at least half an hour before you are due to start work if you are unable to attend. We need to be made aware, even if you have already directly informed the company you are working for.
The Employee in respect of any period of absence should be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay subject to qualification in accordance with the rules of the scheme and to the Employee submitting appropriate medical certificates and self-certification. A company sick pay scheme is not currently available to the Employee.
In the event the Employee wishes to be absent from or not be available for work for any other reason then he/she must obtain authorisation from Office Angels.
The Employee acknowledges and agrees that if he/she is absent from or not available for work for a period of 4 weeks or more without authorisation from Office Angels then Office Angels will be entitled to regard the Employee as having resigned from his/her employment with Office Angels and a form P45 may be processed and issued to the Employee.
