Executary of the Year

Would your day be chaos if it wasn't for your PA arranging your meetings and scheduling your appointments?  Would the office be a disaster zone if it wasn't for your secretary keeping everything under control?

For the 12th year running, we're on the hunt for the UK and Ireland's Executary of the Year.  The award recognises how today's secretaries are the linchpin of UK businesses, playing a pivotal role in the smooth running of any company. "We coined the phrase 'executary' and launched these awards to recognise the gradual change in secretarial duties, where secretaries began to take on more executive roles," says David Clubb, managing director of Office Angels.

Who can enter?

PAs and secretaries can either enter themselves into the distinguished competition, or even better, managers can enter them to show their gratitude for all their hard work.

What does it involve?

Entrants are initially judged by how they have fulfilled certain criteria stated on the application. Shortlisted applicants are then invited to assessments and group interviews held on Wednesday, 4 November, 2009.

The selection process for this year's award begins regionally and culminates in a final awards ceremony held at a prestigious London venue in November 2009.   Along with the title of Executary of the Year, the winner will receive a well-deserved pampering break and goody bag.
